To Whom It May Concern:

Leed’s is committed to ensuring the safety of its products and the safety of your customers. We take all necessary steps to manufacture products that meet Federal product regulations and standards. The quality and safety of our products is a matter of utmost importance to us.

Our bottles made from Polycarbonate material meet the Food & Drug Administration’s (FDA’s) regulations. The FDA indicates that Bisphenol A is an expected by-product from the molding of polycarbonate and has approved it for uses ranging from medical devices to food containers. There has been recent, national press coverage on the subject that indicates adverse affects of the material, however conflicting opinions exist and have existed for many years. We follow US regulations in regards to our product safety standards and to date, the FDA has made no changes to its regulations affecting polycarbonates. Leed’s remains confident that our polycarbonate bottles comply with government regulations and are therefore safe for use.

We appreciate your business and respect your concerns over the safety of this material, and to meet your needs we continue to explore alternative Bishpenol-free materials for product development.

Sincerely,

David Nicholson
President
