GENUINE WENGER® SWISS ARMY KNIVES AND SWISS WATCHES AVAILABLE THROUGH LEED’S
Wenger expands its exclusive industry distribution agreement with Leed’s to include its
legendary tools and watches.
PITTSBURGH — April 25, 2007 — Leed’s, an innovative supplier of promotional products, announces an agreement with Wenger, the makers of the genuine Swiss Army knife, that extends the existing relationship from Wenger business bags and travel accessories into Wenger Swiss Army knives and Swiss-made watches. With the new terms, Leed’s assumes exclusive responsibility within the promotional product industry for the sales of all Wenger-branded watches and Swiss Army knives along with all of the items that Leed’s is already carrying.
Wenger set the standard for multi-functionality, reliability and innovation when they began manufacturing pocket knives for the Swiss Army in 1908. Over the years the Swiss Army knife has become an icon recognized and respected all over the world. From their relentless pursuit of perfection to their dedication to award-winning innovation, Wenger has become a tireless leader in product development. With the same fervor, they’ve created Swiss-made watches that exemplify the enviable characteristics found in their pedigree. “A Swiss Army knife has been called one of the best promotional products in the world. It has hundreds of uses, it will be used everyday, it will last a lifetime and, because of its inherent equities, is a perfect way to reflect a company’s dedication to quality, service and reliability,” said Guy Corcoran, Wenger NA’s Chief Marketing Officer. Wenger’s recent new products have included, Evolution (a line of Swiss Army knives with ergonomic handles) and their AT Swiss Army knife series (a collection of air travel-safe tools with implements that meet TSA and FAA standards for carry-on items). Leed’s will be carrying items from both the Evolution and the AT Swiss Army knife series, for a total of 15 knife styles and 12 watch styles.
Leed’s is known for offering high quality retail brands, providing customers with top-notch service, and innovating the promotional product industry. Eager to offer the genuine Swiss Army knives and watches, Jeff Brown, vice president of marketing and product development, explains that, “Leed’s has experienced great success with Wenger bags and looks forward to a similar response with Wenger knives and watches. With its universally recognizable white cross symbol, it is exciting to offer end-users the opportunity to put their name on such iconic products.” Leed’s will begin taking orders for Wenger Swiss Army knives and watches in May and has been selling over 30 Wenger business and travel products since 2006.
